The host city Visakhapatnam (Vizag) is a coastal city in Andhra Pradesh, known for its beautiful beaches, rich history, and vibrant culture. It is home to famous R.K.Beach, Rushikonda beach, and INS Kursura submarine museum. Nearby attractions include Araku valley scenic hill station with coffee plantations and Borra caves. Simhachalam temple, dedicated to lord Narasimha, is a significant piligrimage site. Vizag also has rich naval history, showcased at the TU 142 aircraft museum. Andhra Pradesh Medtech Zone (AMTZ) is a pivotal center for medical device manufacturing spanning in 270 acres making vizag a center for medical tourism and technological innovation.
